A local chef-owned, fine dining restaurant located in the historic district of downtown Black Mountain, North Carolina. Chef Jake Whitman and his wife Ali, have created a unique steakhouse experience with Japanese influenced menu and cozy speakeasy atmosphere.
Bev's is an ode to Jake's grandmother Beverly. He likely wouldn't be the driven chef he is today without childhood moments cooking with her.
Our Space
Built in the 1920s our hidden gem of a restaurant has all the speakeasy, wine cellar vibes we could hope for.
Access our space from the sidewalk on Cherry Street and descend the staircase. Or access us from the basement entrance from the public parking lot between Cherry & Broadway.
